The town of Aberdeen, Maryland, is worried as search teams and the community try to locate 13-year-old football player Roman Sutton. A promising young athlete from Baltimore, Maryland, Roman, went missing on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Roman was a member of the Bulldogs football team and was said to have a lot of energy and a friendly spirit. He wore jersey number 21.
Police have said that Roman was last seen at about 2 PM. He was in the vicinity of his home, clad in a black Under Armour jacket, black sweatpants, black Nike sneakers, and a camouflage ski mask. Roman is said to be 5’5″ in height and weighs 200 pounds with short black hair.
His case reference number IR#202500275080 has been assigned by the Aberdeen Police. They request that anyone with information call 911 immediately or call them directly at 410-272-2121.
The official Missing Child Alert Facebook page warned people against trusting random Facebook comments for the latest updates. This is because rumors spread like wildfire, which makes the searches even more difficult. People should refer to official links before sharing or commenting on any posts.

The community showed support through many social media posts, encompassing prayers and hopeful messages. A touching prayer for Roman’s safe return was offered by Carolyn Rodriquez Castillo. Mittie Campbell-Mumford prayed for his return home. Patricia Taylor, founder of TAYCOINC, has asked for angelic intercession in the search for Roman and his safe return.
In an update given by Scott Woodall of Aberdeen, he announced that Roman had been found and thanked everyone for their prayers. He said, “He has been located. Thank you, Lord, and thank everyone who prayed and shared. God is good. Amen.”
