At the Millennial Fair of Guardia Kingdom, a boy named Crono met a girl named Marle. He and Marle decided to take a tour of the fair and stumbled upon a bizarre contraption called the Telepod, invented by Crono’s friend, Lucca. Marle entered for a short trial when everything went awry; she vanished inside a time portal. Crono snatched her pendant and jumped in after her, only to find himself 400 years back in time. His journey takes him across different ages of the land: from ancient wreckages to a ruined future, and right up to the edge of time itself. Now, he must fight to change the fate of the world.

Real-Time Battle
Fighting is accomplished in real time. Once it is a character’s turn, an action will be chosen. Meanwhile, the enemies are moving; this requires quick thought.
Special Moves & Team Attacks
The characters possess different skills, which are called “Tech” moves. Also, one can combine them into even stronger team attacks. More than 50 different combos await to be tried out.

Dimensional Vortex: Somewhere out of time is a shifting dungeon. What awaits on the inner side?
Lost Sanctum: Odd doors from the past lead to lost trials and mysteries.

Personal Note:
I first played Chrono Trigger many years ago, and till today, it’s still my favorite RPG. The time travel story, the music, and the combat system have all aged pretty well.
