Terminator Dark Fate Defiance is a strategy game set in a Terminator universe where humans battle against the Legion, a deadly machine army.
In the story mode, you will lead the Founders, a group of survivors, as they struggle to stop Legion from eradicating mankind. The game additionally has skirmish or multiplayer modes with three different factions to choose from: the Founders, Movement, or Legion.
Manage your army through missions and make pivotal decisions regarding unit placement, combat strategies, and upgrades for strength. Everything you do matters and dictates the course of the ongoing war. Replay missions to test your strategies and to achieve better results.
Real Combat, Real Consequences
You will face FPS action in combats where the application of good tactics will spell either victory or defeat. Play using distinct weapons, vehicles, and gear to topple the enemy. Train recruits, level them up, and arm them with the finest weaponry to keep your army intact.
Your decisions shape the war, from allies joining or betraying you, to some missions unlocking or remaining locked based on your actions. Resources are scarce. Protect your men. Vehicle and equipment take actual damage: armor, parts destroyed, and structural damage, based on which will determine whether they survive or not.

A personal opinion:
All my favorites are strategy games that focus on important choices, and this one thinks about those right. The damage system is very accurate; losing a tank due to poor planning is painful, but learning from the mistakes makes success ever so much sweeter.
