Relic Hunters Legend is a very cool looter-shooter RPG and fast shooter combined with guns and deep character customization. It still brings back the memory of me spending hours just building my favorite weapons and testing new builds. You battle with enemies, grab some precious loot, and train your character to become a powerhouse against the Ducan Empire.
You can choose from different characters to play, and each has unique abilities. Each Hunter has three Skill Trees, which you can mix as you like. Besides, there are Attribute points where you will distribute: a few Gear and Weapon slots, and an awful lot of affixes to make your build something different. And let’s not forget the most powerful Relic you will have to find, level up, and craft. Seriously, there is more RPG depth here than meets the eye.
You can play offline by yourself or team up with as many as three friends online. Starting the story campaign is great for me, but it’s easily skipable, and concentrating just on the tops and getting the best loot would be just fine. Unlocking Hunters in any order you want, unless you want to explore the world and its challenges however you like.
Everything is scaled according to whether you’re playing solo or in a group of four, even mini open-world exploration areas and fast missions. Seven game modes are Skirmish, Excavation, Payload, Defense, Distraction, Rift, and Assault. They add time-limited Special Missions with random twists, unique bosses in Delve dungeons, an endgame Treasure Map, Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis, and Challenge Mode systems. I would say that at least with the hours I spent hunting loot in Delve dungeons, the bosses are tough but worth it!
Be looted forever. You could even be joining different Factions while completing the Reputation Quests and still work with NPCs to make a perfectly tuned Gear or Weapons fit for your build. It’s really addictive once you get into it.
