I got a chance to play it on my PC a week ago, and the game felt very relaxing yet funny to me. All missions in Monster Mop Up begin with cleaning. You move into rooms, halls, and even old-style hotels. The game expects you to clean it to shine. From tiny homes to huge banquet halls, you leave not a single mark behind.
Rescue The Ragamuffins
The tiny ones are scared and confused in the human world. Randomly hiding, it is your job to find them all. Sometimes, catching them becomes difficult either because they run away or hide too well. For me, it felt like a beautiful mixture of puzzle-solving with a mild chase.
Upgrade Tools
Your mop and gear can be enhanced, and so the best will always be an option. You can purchase upgrades in the shop in your home and also find hidden pickups throughout missions. Cleaning seems to go much faster and more smoothly when you have better tools. I felt very proud once I received the Custodian of the Month award in the game.
Expand And Decorate Your House
Beyond cleaning jobs, you can also turn your house into a cozy one. You can expand it and decorate it with more than 150 pieces of furniture and design items. I liked placing chairs and trivial decor for my rescued Ragamuffins; it made the whole place feel vibrant. They are almost like a second little life in the game.

My Opinion
I feel that Monster Mop Up is one of those casuals one can open after school or job just to chill. Not too heavy on graphics, yet colorful and fun. The clean feels quite satisfying, and the Ragamuffin rescue gives it a pinch of adventure. If you enjoy light games yet somewhat rewarding, then give it a go.
