You play Val, a mechanic girl who grew up in the underbelly of Riveton. She is sick of seeing the Queen’s rich enjoying everything while normal people suffer in the factories.

Rulers control almost every aspect of life: Food, water, and even what you say. If you speak against them, rationing is cut down as punishment. The whole thing felt too real—I often think small voices get drowned out by those in power. Therefore, I became very much intertwined with Val’s story.

In Riveton, machines and tyrants rule, yet people still try to live, laugh, and find happiness. And Val? She is done with waiting. She is ready to fight back, not with big armies, but through her skills and using drones made with scraps in the streets.

In this game, you don’t just play the hero. You are within a movement. You will stealthily occupy back alleys, hack security, and take down android guards with your homemade drones. There will be times when you go all out recording, but when things look shady, being seen or not will probably be a choice. One of the biggest aspects is exploration; you will work to scavenge and collect free resources for your crafting.

City of Springs combines stealth, action, and crafting in a steampunk environment. One moment you destroy machines, and the next you are lost in shadows, helping Rivetonians rise against the Queen. For me, it felt more than just mere survival; it felt like trying to fix a broken city at every turn.
