This game is farming minus the boring part(s): no walking around forever, no chit-chats on the side, and no dating-sim craziness. Everything’s just a click away. Just plant, harvest, gather, and upgrade your farm. It feels smooth and fast, and somehow, kind of satisfying.

I played it for a few hours, and honestly, it gets addictive. The map is random, the resources vary with every run, so it never feels the same. Basically, your goal here is to make enough money to pay the rent that keeps climbing. You start small, but soon your farm grows bigger than you thought, and there are so many different ways to make cash. Choose what works best and go for it.

So much style in play. There are 24 classes with a style of their own. You may be a simple farmer or a fisherman dodging whimsical pelagic obstacles; a clown making a mockery of Fate, or a shaman practicing his magic. Every time you level up, you pick one remaining item from the three random upgrades, keeping the game occupied in your head.

Worlds are as much nuts as characters: one run could be spent farming in a world of volcanic earth or rocky mountains, while others ones could be a land of candy or ocean beaches. Eight biomes contain the weirdest of buildings and the quirkiest of items to keep every run feeling fresh and adventurous.

You also have varied game modes. In the Classic Mode, you deal with increasing rent and dwindling power stamina. Challenge Mode will present its twelve difficult scenarios for those who really think they need one. And last, there is the Endless Mode, where you can unwind and grow your farm without worrying about money or time.

Animals are super fun in their own right. You can raise them, interact with them, and really bring your farm to life. Just watch it; some may just end up as dinner by mistake.
