Golfer Maria Fassi proclaims champion of the NCAA
UNITED STATES.- The Mexican golfer María Fassi was the national champion of women’s golf in the NCAA Division with a 68-shot card to finish eight under par after three rounds and thus closed her collegiate stage, individually, in the Blessings Golf Club.
The one born in Hidalgo was very solid in the three rounds of the most important contest of golf in the United States at the university level, and she did not hesitate in the last round to consecrate herself as the best university in the country.
Fassi was accompanied by her coach, Shauna Taylor, during the final tour and connected in a good way each one of her shots.
Despite the individual title, Fassi still needs to close his group participation with the team of the University of Arkansas and thus enter professionalism and make his leap to the LPGA, the best tour in the world in women’s golf.
