Ghost Recon Wildlands was always a game defined by its scale. The map stretches across mountain ranges, salt flats, jungle, farmland, and coastal regions, and even years later that world design holds up better than most open world military shooters released since. What Wildlands lacked, in my experience and in a lot of community discussion at the time, was a satisfying sense of closure once the main cartel storyline wrapped up.
