ICC World Cup 2019 Virat Kohli gets ‘big honor’ before World Cup begins
World Cup 2019: General Manager of Madame Tussauds London, Steve Davis said, “Cricket fever will continue to dominate the country over the next few weeks, so with the help of our neighboring Lord’s, Virat Kohli could not have been a better way of unveiling the statue.”

Famous for preparing wax statues, Madam Tussaud unveiled the wax statue of Indian captain Captain Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) in the Lords here before the ICC World Cup (2019). The wax statue of the world’s top batsman will be displayed in Madame Tussauds from Thursday to July 15. In the captaincy of Kohli, Team India will face South Africa in the first match of the World Cup campaign on June 5.

Madame Tussaud’s General Manager of London Steve Davis said, “Cricket fever will continue to dominate the country for the next few weeks, so with the help of our neighboring Lord’s it would not have been better way to unveil the Virat Kohli statue.”
He said, “We hope cricket fans will not enjoy the pleasure of seeing his hero playing on the pitch but will also take a crease along with him in Madame Tussauds here. The effigy shown for the first time in the Lords is in the official dress of India. Shoes and gloves which are worn in the statue Kohli himself provided it.
