Best Wide Receivers In Madden NFL 24

Best Wide Receivers In Madden NFL 24

The latest edition of Madden was released in August and surprised fans worldwide because they brought back the “Superstar KO” mode, where your player can become the best player in the league. It’s hard to pick just one great athlete to lead your team, but in Madden 24, you’ll get the chance to choose between the best wide receivers in the NFL, such as the next ones:

Madden

10. Amari Cooper

Currently playing for the Cleveland Browns, Amari Cooper knows how to adapt to less offensive tactics than he was used to in the Dallas Cowboys. Cooper stands out for his health, as he only missed two games throughout his career.

The 29-year-old also played for the Oakland Raiders, where he was first drafted in 2015, and he’s fresh off posting the best season of his career, developing a strong rapport with Deshaun Watson and Joe Flacco under Kevin Stefanski’s offense.

9. A.J. Brown

A.J. Brown outgrew the Tennesee Titans, so it wasn’t a surprise to see him wanting to leave. The Philadelphia Eagles made the most of his discontent, and it didn’t take long before he became Jalen Hurts’ favorite target.

Brown leads all players in his position with the highest strength rating of 79 in wide receivers, which took him to the 91 position overall. You know he’s not going to be satisfied with that rating.

8. Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin has proved to be a team player, as his versatility has gotten him a release rating of 96. Playing for the Washington Commanders since 2019, McLaurin has collected at least 1,000 yards each season, which got him to be one of the captains of the team last season. With a speed of 94, Scary Terry manages to leave the defenders behind.

7. DeAndre Hopkins

Hopkins had a step back after an MCL injury took him out of the 2022 season. Nevertheless, he has a 99 catch and a 98 catch in traffic.

He currently plays for the Tennessee Titans, though the Houston Texans initially drafted him in 2013, where he got four Pro Bowl nods. He spent two seasons in the Arizona Cardinals but was let go after having some issues with the board.

6. Ja’Marr Chase

Despite not being around for long, Ja’Marr Chase has already established himself among the finest pass-catchers in the game. The former LSU star reunited with Joe Burrow with the Cincinnati Bengals, and it didn’t take long before he proved the doubters wrong.

Needless to say, he’s kept that momentum going from that day, and he’s only gotten better.

5. Cooper Kupp

With a catch of 99, Kupp has the highest rating among the wide receivers. Though the Los Angeles Rams athlete is considered to have an MVP form, he was held back after suffering an ankle injury, among other health issues, that kept him out of the field for most of the season. However, he maintained his status during the games he played.

He helped the Rams win a Super Bowl in Matthew Stafford’s first year with the team, also winning the offensive triple crown.

4. Stefon Diggs

Despite having a down season by his standards, Stefon Diggs also has a rating of 96, but he could take a significant dip in an update. The former Minnesota Vikings star entered the league in 2015 before forcing his way out to the Buffalo Bills five years later.

His connection with Josh Allen should not be overlooked, not even after his production took a dip under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady took over. Even so, it’ll be interesting to see how he fares in the future and whether the team will trade him as rumored.

3. Davante Adams

Most people predicted that Davante Adams wouldn’t be able to put up the same numbers with Derek Carr as he did with Aaron Rodgers. He responded by putting up over 1,500 receiving yards in his first season with the Las Vegas Raiders and becoming one of the best AFC West wide receivers.

The last campaign wasn’t as proficient for the former Green Bay Packers star, though. Even so, he continues to be considered one of the best route-runners and pass-catchers in the game, thus his 99 rating isn’t much of a surprise,

2. Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill has established himself as one of the most dominant players in the entire game. Despite his limited size, his speed and ability to break ankles have turned him into a perennial big-play threat. The fastest player in the game, he boasts a 99 rating in speed, 98 in agility, and 98 in acceleration. No wonder why he’s dubbed ‘Cheetah.’

Hill almost became the first player to reach 2,000 receiving yards in a single season, but injuries got in his way. He might be on his last year with the Dolphins, due to salary cap, so perhaps we will an interesting move for Tyreek in the NFL.

1. Justin Jefferson

Jefferson is currently the number one wide receiver in the league, as he has led the Vikings since he was 19. He has played for Minnesota for four seasons, and he finished the 2023 season with more than 1,000 receiving yards and 128 receptions, while his routes are so flexible, having a short route of 98 and a medium and deep at 97.

With a thriving starting career, Justin Jefferson certainly has become a fan favorite. It’s predicted that he will finally win Offensive Player of the Year next season.
