Lost in the Great Abyss
You’re an old dreamer who somehow ended up stuck in the Great Abyss—a massive underworld beneath the Dreamlands. With only your gear and wits, you’ve got to figure out how to escape back to the Dreamlands or the Waking World. Along the way, you’ll gather weapons, armor, supplies, and even form alliances with some of the local creatures.
Multiple Strategies to Win
While combat is a big part of the game, you can also use stealth and dialogue to navigate through this spooky world. It’s up to you how you handle the situations you encounter.
Old-School CRPG Feel
If you love old CRPGs like Ultima or Questron, this game’s for you. You get a top-down 2D view outside dungeons, and inside, it switches to a 3D, first-person perspective for a more immersive experience.
Pick Your Dreamer
You’ll start with a random dreamer with basic skills and gear. If they’re not cutting it, just reroll until you get a better one. The game gives you a bunch of fancy-sounding English gentlemen to choose from, each with unique perks and alliances.
Turn-Based Combat
The turn-based combat system means you have time to think and plan your moves. The enemies might be terrifying, but they’ll wait their turn, so you can strategize your next step.
Form Alliances
Some dreamers start with alliances that can give you a big advantage early on. You’ll also have chances to form new alliances by discovering and reading specific books in the game. These alliances help you recruit allies to fight by your side.
