Komaru Naegi, sister of Makoto Naegi, has been living trapped in an apartment for over a year now. One day, she is rescued by Byakuya Togami from the Future Foundation, but the two of them are forced to fight off hundreds of Monokumas bursting through the door at the end of it. Komaru learns that a bunch of kids calling themselves the Warriors of Hope control the city. Their leader, Monaca, wants to turn it into a “paradise for children” by snuffing out all the adults in it.
