There are real forests, wildlife, homes, tools, and resources based on each location and time. You’d have to use them well to be able to survive the tough early days.
The game cuts slow tasks by having the people do jobs according to their abilities, leaving gaming planners to focus on planning and their settlers’ work.
On the map, you can trade with some tribes nearby, fight with them, or move some of your people to different lands if supplies are running low.
