So Master of Love It’s a whole K-drama vibe in game form, and if you’re into K-dramas like me, you’ll definitely appreciate the aesthetic. The game starts with Jun-Ho, who’s honestly kinda failing at life—he’s not doing great in either love or his career. But on his 33rd birthday, something wild happens. He takes a bite of his cake and boom! He’s sent back in time, ten years to be exact. Now, Jun-Ho’s got a second chance to maybe fix his past relationships and, well, not be a total disaster.

The whole concept of the game revolves around rekindling romance with five different ex-girlfriends. Each of them brings their own drama, and Jun-Ho has to make some choices that’ll determine how things go this time around. You’ve got:

  • Runa: She was his first love, but one misunderstanding tore them apart.
  • Yuri: She’s the sweet girl-next-door type who always saw Jun-Ho as a brother (ouch).
  • Hana: His secret office romance that got messed up by ambition and sabotage.
  • Rahee: A model who dated him both before and after her big break, but a public scandal ruined their relationship.
  • Yiso: A super successful career woman who worked with Jun-Ho, but their business problems spilled over into their personal lives.

What’s cool about the game is that your choices actually matter. It’s not like some games where you click random stuff, and it barely changes anything. Here, every decision can lead to one of five different endings, so it’s kind of up to you how Jun-Ho’s love life plays out.

The time travel twist is pretty fun too, but I won’t lie, it’s not perfectly done. The developers tried to give it some deep meaning with the last scene, but it honestly felt a bit clunky. I think I ended up with the bad ending (classic me), and I was like… okay? Still, I liked that the game gave me real choices—there are big ones that can totally flip the story, smaller ones that just tweak the relationships a bit, and then cosmetic choices that are more for the look and feel.

How does the time travel work in the game?

Jun-Ho is sent back in time to try and fix his past mistakes with his exes. The time travel element is a big part of the story, but it’s not perfect—some players feel the ending is a bit underwhelming.
