Claire Redfield returns back in this tale as one of the most popular characters from past Resident Evil titles. Surviving the outbreak of Raccoon City, she works with the bioterrorism-fighting group Terra Save. Her office is then raided by armed assailants during a party for her new teammate, Moira Burton. The two wake up in a grim, empty prison without any clue as to how they got there. Together, they must uncover who took them and why. Will they escape the island and learn the truth? The story is very cleverly plotted, and it also has some unforeseen turns as it goes along.
Meanwhile, Barry Burton comes to the same island in search of his missing daughter. He runs into Natalia, a little girl with the unique power of sensing hidden dangers and items. Players have to switch between Barry’s combat abilities and Natalia’s instincts to escape the horrors of the island. Every single decision counts in true survival horror fashion when enemies lurk everywhere and all supplies are scarce.
Rather, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is releasing in episodic fashion from February 24, 2015. Each episode is available for purchase individually or as part of a season pack that includes bonus content.
