Kazuma Kiryu understands how great the distance is for a man and all those courses, relating to blood or to loyalty, in Yakuza 6. He returns after three years in prison, and he comes back to find his adoptive daughter Haruka missing from his orphanage. To trace his search, it finally brings him to Kamurocho, where she has been hit by a car and put into a coma. He learns all this and then finds out Haruka has a son, and so now he must protect the child. Intent on seeking the truth, Kiryu heads east, to the quiet town of Onomichi in Hiroshima, but there finds some of the dark secrets entangled with the local yakuza.
This is what the game takes you from the lively streets of Kamurocho to peaceful seaside towns such as Onomichi. There is simply a lot of neon lights, barminin games like karaoke, darts, and arcade games on Kamurocho. Even have a gym and a cat cafe to relax in. Onomichi is a bit slower with fishing, local bars, and great scenery.
Never has the Dragon Engine made the world feel more real. Graphics, improved animations, and physics make fights and exploration that much smoother. The combat is brutal for Kiryu, given that his punches hit like they are getting felt somewhere and that his special moves can swing any fight to his side. An entirely new Extreme Heat Mode lets him rip out the damage even more whenever things look tough.
