Each decade, a sacrifice must be made to protect your people from the Abyss, a place both feared and respected! This time, you’ve been chosen and thrown into the darkness… No one has ever returned, but perhaps you can beat the odds. Welcomed by Nyx, living alone with its rocks in a cave, you’ve survived for a decade. With the help of Nyx, you will work towards reaching a portal that could finally set you free from the depths of the Abyss in this 2D game, narrative-focused platformer. Elypse is a challenging 2D Action Platformer focused on Fay, a character who was sacrificed and dropped into the abyss, now has to climb her way back to freedom.
Gameplay Experience
The game offers challenging platforming challenges that will test your skills to the limit, but they’re exhilarating too—you’ll learn important skills as you go along to overcome these diverse challenges. The soundtracks and music were outstanding, a pleasure to listen to as you traveled through each biome. The epic boss fights to test your patience and reflexes—they’re pretty difficult, so if you’re not skilled, I’d avoid this one. All things considered, it took me roughly 4.2 hours to complete, and it was an absolute delight. The graphics are equally beautiful. I highly recommend this game if you’re up for a challenge.
