Unlike most modern games, Hell is Us doesn’t give you a map, compass, or quest markers. You have to use your own sense of direction and pay attention to the environment. This makes exploration feel fresh. I remember the first time I walked into an unknown valley in the game and found a hidden path leading to a creature’s lair. The surprise felt real because I was not guided by any marker.
Unique Creatures in Combat
Fighting in Hell is Us is difficult but gratifying at the same time. You can swing swords, spears, and axes specially designed to confront these supernatural monsters. You need to learn the enemy’s patterns-and using your drone in smart ways will help you in surviving. Initially, I struggled with timing, but once I understood detecting, dodging, and striking, the battles became exhilarating.
