When I first played Knightica Free Download for Windows, I never thought I would be addicted to the game. It is a turn-based roguelike auto-battler complete with unit recruitment, army building, and the freedom of the kingdoms through fighting. I must say I enjoyed that no two matches feel alike: sometimes I lead a team of skeletons, other times I trust the mage guild.
Build and Control Your Army
The whole fun in Knightica lies in recruiting and placing your troops. Each unit has its own ability, so the way you set them matters a lot. I remember one run in which I put all my trust in undead units. It was hard in the beginning, but later the synergy-play actually did wonders for me, and I cleared a demon stage with little issue.
Your Choices Decide Everything
Knightica requires a lot of thought before every move. Will you risk a strange shop, or fight stronger enemies instead? Do you invest your hard-earned gold in an item for your commander or put another unit in your squad? One time, I thought that shop was useless and passed it, only to regret it later when the boss turned out to be much stronger than expected. That right there is why the game is interesting: no two runs are the same.

My Experience Playing Knightica
In my honest opinion, I liked how the game looks simple, nevertheless, giving you some doubts on every single choice. The mixture of roguelike and auto battle, makes it distinct from all other indie titles I’ve played. If you like strategy games in which you can test several builds, then it’s worth giving it a try.
