This is a great brief game. I’d much appreciate more short, unique gaming experiences like this becoming the norm. It is fairly open-ended, with many areas that I didn’t explore, so I’ll definitely be playing it again later. Shadow-dwelling foes keep you on your toes, inducing cautious movement and combat avoidance whenever possible, though you’ll inevitably fall into cleverly set-up ambushes. Every medkit and bullet is essential, but the true treasure is what you find in the abandoned corners of this world: fragments of a story spun through rust, stone, and silence. Metal Garden presents a hauntingly beautiful experience, similar to walking through the remains of an ancient temple, where each step is filled with history and grief. It’s not just a survival game—it’s an adventure through a world that speaks by its decay.
