Overview
Need for Speed ProStreet on PC is a racing game that pushes street racing to a different level. No longer is it just about winning in your own backyard. The game wants you to prove yourself against racers from around the world.
I remember playing it on my old Windows XP system with lots of love in my heart in the early days. The first time I ever did a drag race, I was so very nervous, but then when that car launched, the acceleration and sound totally captivated me. Unlike other Need for Speed titles, this one drove me to tune my car more accurately before each race.
Everything feels real in ProStreet: every scratch on the car. A single drifting crash could destroy the car and have me reconsidering how I approached corners. That’s when I realized the game was made to test both skill and patience. If you want a chance to feel the pressure of racing and, at the same time, enjoy making a machine, that’s exactly what this game does.

Real street racing physics.
Handling feels different compared to past NFS outings. Cars reacted more realistically so that, after just one mistake, a dent or damage was apparent.
Different race types
Drag, Drift, Grip, or Speed Challenge: each one felt different. I personally loved drifting the best because it was just an arcade-style fun few hours that came with some small challenges.
Visible car damage
Crashes aren’t responsible for damaging just the appearance, but also affect the functionality; seeing your car lose shape adds to an extreme feeling of reality.
Customization and upgrades
You can slap aftermarket parts on that baby and customize it a little, as far as looks and handling. The Autosculpt option will let you customize certain parts and actually see how it will impact performance.

My Experience with ProStreet
When I started ProStreet, I thought this game felt similar to Most Wanted or Underground. However, it was not. The damage system kept me cautious, especially on long Grip races. I still remember spending hours tuning a Skyline for drag racing, attempting every minute change until I would feel I was almost there
Crazy feeling crossing the finish line on Speed Challenge with the car trembling at high speed. For me, the game has always been distinguished for pushing me to be a better racer instead of just pressing the gas pedal.
