Ever imagined managing a whole new planet? Plan B: Terraform puts you in charge of a newly discovered world. You’ll bring in supplies, manage cities, and slowly shape the environment. I remember spending hours just moving minerals from one spot to another and figuring out how to make the cities grow efficiently. It really made me think about how everything is connected on a planet.

You will extract minerals, transport them, and process them so the cities can expand. Building terraforming devices like greenhouse gas factories is key. You have to warm the planet slowly, melt the ice, and trigger rainfall until rivers and oceans appear. It lets you plan every step and truly feel responsible for the environment.

Once everything is ready, you can plant trees. Watch them grow into a forest: surprisingly satisfying. Plan B: Terraform is a calm and helpful game, based on a realistic near-future concept. Further, it is enjoyable while teaching one about the greenhouse effect and the water cycle, amongst other things. Just made me think about how hard it is to control global warming on Earth, feeling at times like we really need a plan B for living when this game takes you through.
