You get into the shoes of Double R, a hard-core special forces soldier by the name of the Rendering Ranger. Your job? Defend Earth from an all-out alien invasion. And trust me, this game doesn’t play around.

You’ll fight your way through nine frenzied levels of mixed-side-scrolling, ass-kicking action with turbo-charged horizontal shooter action thrown in. It’s hands-down one of the coolest games ever constructed for the Super Nintendo—straining that system to its limits.

The emulated edition gives you the full experience, including the previously unseen PAL Targa cut, along with convenient modern niceties such as rewind and save functionality (no more controller-throwing tantrums).
