Spilled! is a short game where any playstyle is acceptable. It’s about an hour long. Kick back and enjoy it at your leisure. Prep your boat for the next region! Sail through different biomes, clear plastic for the recycling center, fight fires, and more. Find 16 hidden animals spread throughout the game! It’s literally an hour-long game, all the achievements included. Still, it’s nicely paced and offers enough variety to stay engaging. It feels like a longer game’s worth of content squeezed into one hour without any fluff. You’ll encounter fresh areas, new gameplay elements, boat upgrades, and simple ‘tasks’ to earn extra cash for improvements.

I had a pleasant experience, and the price (with its discount) felt reasonable to me. It’s similar to Mushroom Picnic Party, a short game I just completed. That one tested my normal price-to-playtime comfort zone too, but it was pleasant. Boat handling was simple, with mechanics from classic racing games—left turn, you right, and vice versa. You can accelerate or back up as well. I played with a gamepad, though a keyboard can be used, too.
