The infamous “Shinjuku Vampire,” Kobayashi, now assumes the identity of this desperate killer on the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. Then hunt down the lunatics and dangerous criminal gangs for the right price. I played most of the game, and the action is insane, particularly the katana fights-it really puts you on your toes.
Fevered Katana Combat
Wielding your katana, you will take part in quick-paced action where you slash, stab, and parry down the line with the hope of encountering monsters that are inspired by Japanese folklore. I remember this one fight from Akihabara. The moves of the enemy were just too unpredictable and had me sweating.
Blood is Weapon
Your blood is actually imported from Human Health and Skills. There are 10 blood skills to master, and then to take down enemies, so you can suck their blood. Very dope to chain attacks and watch skills like chaining attacks and watching skills develop.
Fever Dream Tokyo
Visit neon-bright versions of the actual Tokyo neighborhoods: Shinjuku, Akihabara, or Shibuya. The city at night has this persuasive feeling of living in itself, and just wandering around, you might lose yourself. The neon signs, crowded streets, and alleyways – all of these give great insights into how it feels to be real.
Nightlife & Leisure
When not bashing heads, it’s possible to chill at your very own apartment in Shinjuku. Mine’s been ornamented, and I’ve dabbled in mini-games, making the game feel more vibrant. Spend time shopping, kicking back, and enjoying Japan’s very own nightlife between missions.
Level Up and Upgrade
Get better through enhancing your ability tree. Unleash new skills and combos to become unstoppable. I spent hours smurfing cool combinations just to find the more fun combinations out there.
Hand-Drawn Comic Style
A wild story full of crazy characters is told in highly dynamic comic scenes by Hans “Heavy Metal Hanzo” Steinbach. It’s like being in a living comic book.
Original Soundtrack
