Tracie Wilkes Baines was forty-one and from Greeneville, Tennessee. She passed away suddenly on Monday evening, December 1, 2025. Her family and everyone close to her are still trying to understand what happened because no one has shared the reason. A friend mentioned that it was very sudden and unexpected.

Reading about her made me feel heavy because it reminded me of the time I lost someone in my own family. It hits hard when it happens without warning. Even though I did not know her personally, the way people speak about her shows she brought peace and joy wherever she went.

She Loved Playing Softball and Watching UT Football

Tracie was full of energy. She worked at Health Express Urgent Care in Greeneville, and people recognized her for her kindness and her willingness to help. Outside of work, she was very active. She played softball and loved watching UT football. She was a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan and followed the team closely. I grew up watching college football with my cousins, so I understand that excitement. When you love a team, it becomes part of your life.

She also enjoyed spending time outdoors. She liked hunting and fishing. She appreciated simple moments outside, just as many families here do, spending weekends near lakes or open fields. Her family meant everything to her. She spent most of her free time with her husband, Matt, her kids, Peyton and Paisley, and her father, Andy. Even her dog Lily stayed by her side all the time.
