Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a video game where you play in co-op, taking control of Jess and Soph, the twin daughters of BJ Blazkowicz.
The story takes place nineteen years after the events of Wolfenstein II. BJ’s mission to Nazi-controlled Paris goes sideways, and now he’s disappeared. The girls have trained under his guidance, but with no sign of BJ, they have no choice but to fight on their own.
I remember when I played this game for the first time; I played it by myself before teaming up with a friend. Playing single-player felt intense, but that was where the fun lay in the cooperative mode, as the whole game hinges on working together.
You get to go around Paris, level up your character, unlock weapons, gadgets, and special abilities. For finishing missions, you are rewarded with better gear and upgrades to your character. One thing I liked about the game is the ability to change your play style; you’d rather be stealthy and quiet or maybe just want to shoot your way through a mission with a lot of fighting.
The game feels more open compared to its predecessors. Rather than just being guided along a linear path, players can plan their missions from a base set amidst the catacombs of Paris. I actually preferred deciding what mission to do next rather than just being forced along by the storyline.

The game is worth checking out if you are into co-op action shooters. For me, it is about having fun compared to the previous games of Wolfenstein.
